MCD's stock price opened today at $75.25 appearing to rebound from the loss it took after announcing its' August sales figures last Thursday.

However, it did not sustain the opening price and ended up closing at $74.57 which is down -$0.44 (or -.59%).

Guess the rebound did not happen after all... at least not yet, but I suspect it will. We will have to stay tuned to find out.
JUST FOR FUN:
Well, Mr. Hamburger University Gradute, Lucian, answered the trivia question correctly. The first McDonald's to host indoor seating was in Denver, Colorado. Way to go, Lucian!!!
I have a 2 trivia questions for everyone concerning McDonalds. Ray Kroc was so concerned about the amount of salt on his french fries to consumers that he had the employees salt them in a special way - what was the way? Second - Ray Kroc was so infuriated at the McDonald brothers for not selling him the rights to the original building that he built a McDonalds right next to the original and forced them to change their name because of rights infringement. What was the new name of the McDonald brothers' restaurant?
ReplyDeleteOK Lucian I give up and no one has answered your trivia question, I think the new name of the restaurant was The Big M but what is the answer to the salt? I love their salty french fries.
ReplyDeleteThe Big M is correct and the way he wanted all fries to be salted were in the "M" shape so that they were evenly coated with salt. Their fries are the best by the way and believe me, I know because I had to shop every competitor for 20 miles when I managed one.
